What are your needs?  Whether it is strength training, muscle building, fat loss, sports readiness, recovering from injury, or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, this is your first step in attaining your goals.  Let’s sit down and discuss what your expectations are, including a discussion of nutritional and diet strategies. 

 

Physical Assessment

After we discuss and map out your goals, our next step is to see what your body can and can not do.  What can we strengthen and/or improve on to help your body move and perform the most efficiently?  To assess this, we take you through a “Functional Movement Screen” (see the link).  Functional Movement Screening is a series of simple movements devised to identify the “weak links” in your body’s performance.

 

Exercise Program

Keeping your goals in mind, and taking into account your physical assessment, we then will devise an exercise program which is tailored to your specific needs.  To prepare your neuromuscular system and to help increase your mobility, all exercise routines begin with some type of dynamic warm-up.  Through our years of experience in the fitness industry, we have learned that the most efficient and effective exercise programs incorporate a variety of training methods.  Research shows that many training techniques used in various programs such as core/balance, functional, flexibility, speed-agility-quickness, strength and resistance training will enhance a  workout program and  provide you with a well rounded and healthy exercise regimen.  Proper cool down stretches at the conclusion of each workout will assist in injury prevention and increase flexibility.
